Background: Dave and Busters is a national restaurant and arcade chain that The Garrity Group helped to opened in New Mexico in 2014. The event space, menu and arcade (huge) is one of the most popular features.
Challenge: Three years after it opened, the Albuquerque Dave and Busters (D&B) location found itself in competition with a local adult arcade and a new national franchise arcade. Dave and Busters contacted The Garrity Group to re-engage the arcade with community and media groups.
Solution: The Garrity Group provided updates to D&B’s community group lists, setup one on one visits of the arcade and arranged small group events through VIP parties. The Garrity Group also identified relevant groups based on D&B’s target demographic and geographic focus. The Garrity Group created and managed a total of eight events over the span of three months, in addition to creating relevant collateral to support the team’s outreach efforts.
